How do I correct a tension problem in my seed bead fringe?

If the tension is too tight on the first segment, tug on the last fringe segment strung to get an excess amount of thread. Then, tug on the next to the last segment, and so on toward the first segment, until the tension is adjusted correctly. If the tension is too loose, work the slack through the other segments until the slack has been taken up.

The tension on any of the fringe segments can always be adjusted until the thread is knotted to finish the piece. When creating fringe, be sure to leave a space between the fringe beads and the base beads, which is about the thickness of a fingernail.
