How do I enlarge the hole in plastic beads? I am making a craft that requires running a 1.5 inch ribbon through the bead. What tool can I use to enlarge the hole? I bought the diamond reamer, but it does not work on plastic!!!

A coarser round needle file will gain better purchase on the plastic, allowing you to enlarge the hole more readily. Follow this with the diamond-coated bead reamer to smooth the hole. 

Please wear eye protection, a dust mask and use water to flush the area where you are making the hole. Water will keep the dust to a minimum as well as clean out the hole, allowing the files to work faster. Be sure to dry your files well after you are done working so they do not rust.
