Instructions
Color approximately 1 ounce of Vitrium® resin clay by tapping a pink highlighter marker onto the surface, creating small dots of ink. While wearing protective gloves, blend the clay until the pink color is evenly distributed.
Roll a small piece of clay into a ball, then flatten it into a small disc to form the flower center.
Create a petal by shaping a small piece of clay into a teardrop. Starting at the pointed end, press and gently pull the clay outward to form the petal, being careful not to tear the clay.
Attach the petal to the small clay disc.
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until you have a five-petaled flower.
Let the clay dry for at least 24 hours. Then apply Vitrium sealant to the clay design.
Mix a small amount of dark pink chalk pastel with a few drops of rubbing alcohol. Apply the mixture to the center of the flower, blending the color outward toward the petals.
Place a small dot of Quick Hold® clear adhesive in the center of the flower. Place five 2.5mm gold-plated round beads onto the adhesive.
Once the paint and adhesive are dry, use Devcon® 5 Minute® 2-part epoxy to attach an Aanraku® 25x8mm glue-on bail to the back of the flower.
Cut an 18-inch length of gold-finished 3mm figaro chain.
Using a 5mm 20-gauge gold-plated round jump ring, attach a 12x7mm gold-plated lobster claw swivel clasp to one end of the chain.
Attach a 7mm 18-gauge gold-plated round jump ring to the other end of the chain.
Slide the flower pendant onto the chain and center it.
