Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut the following:
- Two 6-inch lengths of bolo cord
- One 15-inch length of beading wire
- One 10-inch length of beading wire
- Three 2-1/2 inch lengths of chain
Step 2
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the 15-inch beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover.
Step 3
String a 3mm corrugated round and a 6mm Preciosa round. Repeat a total of 13 times then add another corrugated round. String a 7x6mm cylinder bead then repeat the same pattern on the other side of the beading wire. Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand then trim excess wire.
Step 4
Use a 6x4mm oval jump ring to attach a length of chain to one side of a 33x15.5mm focal. Repeat on the other side of the focal using a second length of chain.
Step 5
Repeat Step 2 using the 10-inch length of beading wire.
Step 6
String a 4x1mm beaded rondelle and a 4mm Preciosa round bead. Repeat a total of 26 times then add another 4x1mm beaded rondelle. Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand then trim excess wire.
Step 7
Attach crimp ends to each end of bola cord.
Use 6x4mm jump rings to attach the ends of each strand created in Steps 2 - 7 to one end of each bolo cord, as seen in the image above.
Step 8
Place an 18x13mm oval fancy stone into an 18x13mm bezel setting. Use a prong pusher to press the bezel trim into place and secure the stone.
Repeat using 14x10mm fancy stones and bezel settings to create two 14x10mm drops.
Step 9
Use a 6x4mm jump ring to attach the 18x13mm drop to the cylinder bead on the long strand. Use a 6x4mm jump ring to attach a 14x10mm drop to the focal on the middle strand.
Step 10
Use a 6x4mm jump ring to attach one end of the necklace to a clasp. Use a 6x4mm jump ring to attach the third length of chain to the other end of the necklace.
Step 11
Attach a 14x10mm drop to a 6x4mm jump ring. Use an 8x6mm jump ring to attach the drop to the third length of chain and complete the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Place a 14x10mm fancy stone into an ear wire setting. Use a prong pusher to bend the bezel setting into place.
Repeat to create a second earring.
