- Bead tip, silver-plated brass, 6.5x3.5mm bottom clamp-on with closed loop
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, aquamarine AB, 4mm bicone (5328)
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, aquamarine, 4x3mm faceted rondelle (5040)
- Clasp, magnetic, silver-finished brass, 12x6mm double round
- Earnut, silver-plated brass, 5.5x5mm barrel
- Earstud, silver-plated brass and stainless steel, 5mm ball with closed loop
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 8x6mm oval, 6.2x4.1mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, light grey, 4mm round (5810)
- Pearl, cultured freshwater (dyed), light grey to dark silver grey, 7-8mm semi-round, B grade, Mohs hardness 2-1/2 to 4
- Thread, Silkon®, bonded nylon, lightweight #1, blue
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a four foot length of Silkon® thread.
Step 2
Tie a knot on one end of the thread. String a bead tip onto the thread and close over the knot.
Step 3
String beads in the following pattern:
- One 4x3mm rondelle
- One 4mm round
- One 4x3mm rondelle
- One 8mm pearl
- Four 4mm bicones
Pass the thread through the 8mm pearl again and pull taut so the bicones form a semi-circle around the pearl.
Repeat the pattern a total of 21 times then finish with a 4x3 rondelle, 4mm round and 4x3mm rondelle.
Step 4
String on a bead tip. Tie a knot in the thread and clap the bead tip over the knot.
Step 5
Open a jump ring. Slide on one end of the strand and one half of a clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat to add a clasp to the other end of the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One 4mm bicone
- One 4mm round
- One 4mm bicone
- One 8mm pearl
- One 4mm bicone
Form a simple loop. Attach to an earstud. Repeat to create a second earring.
