Instructions
Cut the following:
String onto the beading wire: one 2x2 sterling silver crimp tube and one 0.5mm stainless steel Accu-Guard™ wire protector.
Add the loop of an 11x3mm stainless steel cord coil to the Accu-Guard, then pass the beading wire back through the other side of the Accu-Guard and the crimp tube.
Pull the beading wire so the crimp tube rests snug against the Accu-Guard, leaving approximately 0.25 inch of beading wire on the end. Using crimping pliers, crimp the tube, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 3mm antique silver-plated crimp cover.
Tip: For more information on crimping, watch the “Secrets to Professional Crimping” how-to video or read the instructions.
Thread on thirty-nine 4mm honey round druk beads, then crimp the end of the Accu-Flex as in Step 2, snugly against the beads. Make sure to add the loop of another 11x3mm stainless steel cord coil to the second Accu-Guard before crimping.
Glue the end of a 5-inch 3mm brown leather cord into the cord coil at one end of the beaded length. Then, glue the opposite end of the cord into the cord end on a 28x6mm lobster claw clasp/cord end set.
Repeat for the opposite side.
Tip: For more information on using cord ends, watch the “How to Use Cord Tips (Glue-In Style)” how-to video or read the instructions.
Add two 4mm 20-gauge antique silver-plated jump rings to the bar at the bottom center of a 34.5x18 antique silver finished slide tube.
Tip: For more information on using jump rings, watch the “Secrets to Opening and Closing Jump Rings” how-to video or read the instructions.
Make the focal drop by threading one 3mm Crystal Passions® topaz bicone bead onto a 1-inch antique silver-plated 21-gauge head pin.
Then thread on an antique silver-plated honeybee bead, then another 3mm Crystal Passions topaz bicone bead.
Finish the drop with a simple loop.
Tip: For more information on making simple loops, watch the “Secrets to Simple Loops” how-to video or read the instructions.
Attach the drop between the two jump rings on the slide tube.
Thread the necklace into the slide tube and fasten the clasp.
