- Pearl white, Crystal Passions® 12mm round 5810
- Flat back crystal foil back, Crystal Passions® 2.5-2.7mm rose round SS9 2058
- Wire, ParaWire™, rose gold-finished copper, round, 24 gauge
- Wire, ParaWire™, rose gold-finished copper, round, 26 gauge
- Bead vintage rose, Crystal Passions® 4mm bicone 5328
- Bead vintage rose, Crystal Passions® 6mm bicone 5328
- Ornament frame, carbon steel, 4-1/2 inch snowflake with 6 legs, 18 gauge
- Seed bead, Preciosa Ornela Czech glass, #8 rocaille, opaque pearl luster white, (47102)
Instructions
Ornament:
Step 1
String the following onto one spoke on a 4-1/2 inch carbon steel snowflake ornament frame:
- One #8 Preciosa Ornela opaque pearl luster white seed bead
- One 6mm Crystal Passions vintage rose bicone bead
- One 12mm Crystal Passions white round pearl
Repeat this sequence two more times. Then glue the beads into place with Devcon 5 Minute® Epoxy.
Step 2
Repeat Step 1 for the remaining five spokes of the snowflake.
Step 3
Cut 12 inches of 26-gauge rose gold-finished round ParaWire™.
Step 4
String 66 4mm Crystal Passions vintage rose bicone beads onto the wire.
Step 5
Wrap one end of the wire around the base of one of the 12mm Crystal Passions white round pearls. Count 11 bicone beads and then wrap the wire around the next white pearl. Repeat until you reach the final spoke. Wrap the wire around the spoke to secure.
Step 6
Make a slight bend in each section of bicone-laden ParaWire to create a pleasing snowflake shape.
Step 7
Mix Devcon 5 Minute Epoxy. Using a toothpick, add a tiny dot of glue to the front-facing center of the ornament. Place a 2.5-2.7mm SS9 Crystal Passions rose round flat back on the glue using an embellishment positioner.
