- Turquoise, pebble bead.
- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 4mm.
- Focal, antiqued sterling silver, 40x20mm arrowhead with Native American and buffalo design.
- Wire, sterling silver, dead-soft, round, 20 gauge.
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter.
- Sterling silver, cut tube crimp, 2mm / 1.3-1.4mm inside diameter
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 5mm round, 3.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge.
- Magnesite, marquise / round focal 30x8mm / 23x8mm / 6mm.
- Bead, coral (dyed), red, 6x3mm hand-cut round tube.
- Eye pin, sterling silver, 1-1/4 inch, 24 gauge.
- Bead, sterling silver, 4x2mm smooth rondelle.
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver, 5mm tube, 1.1mm inside diameter.
- Magnesite, round bead 6mm.
- Sterling silver, brushed teardrop Navajo pearl-style bead oxidized 6x4mm.
- Clasp, hook-and-eye, antiqued sterling silver, 11x6mm with lines and 2 jump rings.
- Ear wire, antiqued sterling silver, 22mm leverback with 11mm round and flower design with closed loop.
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® clear professional-quality beading wire. Add a bead stopper to one end.
Step 2
Create the focal by threading onto the center of the beading wire:
- One 6x4mm oxidized sterling silver Navajo teardrop bead
- One 23x8mm magnesite marquise focal
- One 6mm magnesite round bead
- One 23x8mm magnesite marquise focal
- One 6x3mm red coral round tube bead
- One 40x20mm antiqued sterling silver arrowhead focal
- One 6x3mm red coral round tube bead
- One 23x8mm magnesite marquise focal
- One 6mm magnesite round bead
- One 23x8mm magnesite marquise focal
- One 6x4mm oxidized sterling silver Navajo teardrop bead
Step 3
Thread on eight inches of the following beads in your desired pattern:
- 6x4mm oxidized sterling silver Navajo teardrop bead
- 4x2mm sterling silver smooth rondelle beads
- 6mm magnesite round bead
- 6x3mm red coral round tube bead
- turquoise medium pebble beads
Step 4
String onto the beading wire: one 2mm sterling silver cut tube crimp and one Accu-Guard™ 5mm sterling silver tube wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm sterling silver crimp cover. Remove the bead stopper.
Step 5
Repeat the 8-inch beading pattern on the opposite side of the beading wire. Repeat Step 3 to finish the end of the beading wire.
Step 6
Add the hook end of a 11x6mm antiqued sterling silver hook-and-eye clasp to the right side of the necklace using a 5mm 20-gauge round jump ring.
Add the eye end of the clasp to the right side of the necklace using a 5mm 20-gauge round jump ring.
Earrings Instructions
Step 1
Create a bail by threading the end of a roll of 20-gauge sterling silver dead-soft round wire through the hole in a 23x8mm magnesite marquise focal so it comes out of the hole 1/4 inch. Push the short and long tails of wire up on the sides of the bead until they meet. Cut the short tail where it meets the long tail. Make a simple loop in the opposite direction and cut the wire off the roll.
Step 2
Open the eye of a 1-1/4 inch 24-gauge sterling silver eye pin, add the loop on the bail on the marquise focal, then close it.
Step 3
Thread your desired pattern of the following beads onto the eye pin:
- 6x4mm oxidized sterling silver Navajo teardrop bead
- 4x2mm sterling silver smooth rondelle beads
- 6mm magnesite round bead
- 6x3mm red coral round tube bead
- turquoise medium pebble beads
Finish the eye pin with a simple loop.
Step 4
Add a 22mm sterling silver leverback ear wire to the simple loop.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 for the second earring.
