- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 2.5mm
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2x1mm cut tube, 1.1mm inside diameter
- Head pin, sterling silver, 3/4 inch with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 6mm soldered round, 3.5mm inside diameter, 12 gauge
- Chain sterling silver box, 1.1mm square necklace component / 3.5mm jump ring / springring clasp, 16.75 inch
- Thread, Berkley® FireLine®, high-modulus polyethylene, 8-fiber braid, crystal, 0.15mm diameter, 6-pound test
- Bead, sterling silver, 2.5mm seamless round
- Bead blue zircon AB, Preciosa Czech crystal 4mm bicone
- Bead crystal AB 2X, Preciosa Czech crystal 4mm bicone
- Earstud sterling silver, 13.5x10mm Celtic knot / closed loop / earnuts, 1 pair
- Bead turquoise AB 2X, Preciosa Czech crystal 4mm bicone
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 12- inch length of FireLine® crystal polyethylene thread.
Step 2
String on a 6mm 12-gauge sterling silver soldered round jump ring, followed by a 2x1mm sterling silver cut tube crimp. They should be in the center of the thread. Crimp the tube crimp and add a 2.5mm sterling silver crimp cover.
Step 3
Separate the strands of thread. String the following onto each strand:
- One 4mm bicone bead in the color of your choice
- One 2.5mm sterling silver seamless round bead
- One 4mm bicone bead in the color of your choice
Step 4
Bring the strands together and thread on another 2.5mm sterling silver bead. Pull the thread tight to create a square.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 four more times, using bicone beads in colors of your choice. After the last square, instead of stringing on a 2.5mm sterling silver bead, string on a 2.1mm sterling silver cut tube crimp.
Step 6
Tie the strands together with a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot .
Step 7
Crimp the cut tube crimp and add a 2.5mm sterling silver crimp cover. Trim the excess thread.
Step 8
Attach the ends of the thread to the jump rings on the ends of a sterling silver 1.1mm square necklace component.
Earrings Instructions
Step 1
Create a drop by stringing a 4mm bicone bead in the color of your choice onto a 3/4inch 24-gauge sterling silver ball head pin. Finish the head pin with a simple loop , inserting a 6mm 12-gauge sterling silver soldered round jump ring before you close the loop.
Step 2
Cut a 12-inch length of FireLine® crystal polyethylene thread.
Step 3
String on a 6mm 12-gauge sterling silver soldered round jump ring, followed by a 2x1mm sterling silver cut tube crimp. They should be in the center of the thread. Crimp the tube crimp and add a 2.5mm sterling silver crimp cover.
Step 4
Separate the strands of thread. String the following onto each strand:
- One 4mm bicone bead in the color of your choice
- One 2.5mm sterling silver seamless round bead
- One 4mm bicone bead in the color of your choice
Step 5
Bring the strands together and thread on another 2.5mm sterling silver bead. Pull the thread tight to create a square. Then string both strands of thread through the loop on a 13.5x10mm sterling silver Celtic knot earstud and back through the crimp bead. Crimp and add a 2.5mm sterling silver crimp cover.
Step 6
Tie the strands with a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot. Trim the excess thread.
Step 7
Attach the drops from Step 1 to the bottom of the earring by opening the loop on the drop.
