Instructions
Bracelet #1
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Powercord® 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Place a bead stopper on one end.
Step 2
String the following onto the elastic cord:
- One 12.5x8.5mm antique silver-plated elephant bead
- Four 8mm light green round cat’s eye glass beads
- Fourteen 8mm dark green round cat’s eye glass beads
- Four 8mm light green round cat’s eye glass beads
Remove the bead stopper.
Step 3
Finish the strand by tying a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot.
Using a toothpick, apply E6000® adhesive to the knot. Let the glue dry, and then snip excess cord and pull the knot into the hole in the nearest bead.
Bracelet #2
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Powercord 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Place a bead stopper on one end.
Step 2
Alternate stringing 8mm brown round cat’s eye glass beads and 8mm antique copper-plated corrugated round beads until you have a total of 12 of each kind of bead. Then remove the bead stopper.
Step 3
Finish the strand by tying a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot.
Using a toothpick, apply E6000 adhesive to the knot. Let the glue dry, and then snip excess cord and pull the knot into the hole in the nearest bead.
Bracelet #3
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Powercord 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Place a bead stopper on one end.
Step 2
String the following onto the elastic cord:
- One 8mm purple round cat’s eye glass bead
- One 6mm purple round cat’s eye glass beads
- One 7mm antique silver-plated flower bead
- One 6mm purple round cat’s eye glass beads
Repeat this pattern 6 more times, and then remove the bead stopper.
Step 3
Finish the strand by tying a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot.
Using a toothpick, apply E6000 adhesive to the knot. Let the glue dry, and then snip excess cord and pull the knot into the hole in the nearest bead.
Bracelet #4
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Powercord 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Place a bead stopper on one end.
Step 2
String one 8mm pewter cat-face bead on to the elastic cord. Then alternate stringing 6mm turquoise blue round cat’s eye glass beads and 8mm grey round cat’s eye glass beads until you have a total of 13 of each kind of cat’s eye glass bead. String on a final 6mm turquoise blue round cat’s eye glass bead. Then remove the bead stopper.
Step 3
Finish the strand by tying a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot.
Using a toothpick, apply E6000 adhesive to the knot. Let the glue dry, and then snip excess cord and pull the knot into the hole in the nearest bead.
Bracelet #5
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Powercord® 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Place a bead stopper on one end.
Step 2
String the following onto the elastic cord:
- One 8mm white round cat’s eye glass bead
- One 6mm dark pink round cat’s eye glass bead
- One 8-9mm Czech lampworked glass flower bead
- One 6mm dark pink round cat’s eye glass bead
Repeat this pattern 6 more times. Then remove the bead stopper.
Step 3
Finish the strand by tying a surgeon’s knot followed by an overhand knot.
Using a toothpick, apply E6000® adhesive to the knot. Let the glue dry, and then snip excess cord and pull the knot into the hole in the nearest bead.
