Cut the following:
Mix a small amount of Devcon® 5-Minute® Epoxy according to manufacturers instructions. Apply a small amount of epoxy to the back of one 22-cup length of cupchain. Press the length of cupchain to one long edge of the 2x1-inch rectangle sheet.
Repeat to glue the remaining lengths of cupchain to the brass sheet to create a frame.
Apply a small amount of Devcon to the pad on one leaf bail. Press the pad of the bail to the center of one of the short edges of the brass sheet.
Apply a layer of Devcon to the inside of the frame on the brass sheet. Using amethyst inlay chips, add chips to the center of the brass sheet until desired.
Set aside to cure.
String one amethyst 4mm round onto an eye pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of 16 amethyst links.
Attach bead tips to each end of each of the lengths of chain.
Attach the following, in order, using 4mm jump rings:
Continue to attach the 6-ball length of chain to the previous amethyst link using one jump ring then string the amethyst chip focal onto the chain.
Repeat Step 6 in the opposite direction to complete the necklace.
Cut the following:
Mix a small amount of Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy according to manufacturers instructions. Apply a small amount of epoxy to the back of one 17-cup length of cupchain. Press the length of cupchain to one long edge of the rectangle sheet.
Repeat to glue the remaining 17-cup length and two 6-cup lengths of cupchain to the brass sheet to create a frame.
Apply a small amount of Devcon to the pad on one leaf bail. Press the pad of the bail to the center of one of the short edges of the brass sheet.
Apply a layer of Devcon to the inside of the frame on the brass sheet. Using amethyst inlay chips, add chips to the center of the brass sheet until desired.
Set aside to cure.
String one amethyst 4mm round onto an eye pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second link.
Pass one 4mm jump ring through both amethyst links then close.
Using 6mm jump rings, attach one end of the two-link length to the amethyst chip focal and the other end of the links to an ear wire.
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create a second earring.
