Instructions
Print out a free stock image of a portrait.
Spray the portrait with clearcoat spray paint on each side of the image. Let it dry between coats.
Cut the portrait to size, using a 29x27mm heart locket charm as a template.
Lay the portrait into the heart locket charm.
Mix about 1 ounce of Mod Podge® 2-part epoxy resin.
Carefully place resin on top of the stock image.
Using a toothpick, carefully spread the resin over the image. Press down on the image to dispel any air bubbles.
Use a heat source to remove any air bubbles that surface.
Let the resin cure for 24 hours.
Cut your desired length of antiqued brass-plated 3.5mm beaded chain.
Using a 4mm 22-gauge antiqued gold-plated round jump ring, attach a 12x5mm antiqued gold-plated lobster claw clasp to one end of the chain. Attach a second jump ring to the other end of the chain.
Attach an 8mm 18-gauge antiqued gold-plated round jump ring to the heart locket charm, then slide it onto the chain.
