Instructions
Cut 12 inches of invisible cord.
Fold the cord in half for added strength.
String 7 size #8 rocaille seed beads onto one side of the cord.
String an 8th seed bead onto one end of the cord, then thread the other end of the cord through this bead, crossing over.
Pull both ends tight to form a small circle.
String a small gold bead onto one end of the cord.
Cross the other end of the cord back through the gold bead, as before.
Pull tight so the gold bead sits centered on top of the petal circle.
Use your fingers to gently press the gold bead down into the middle of the circle to create the flower center.
Make sure both cords are directly across from where the gold bead exits the circle.
Take the bottom cord and go up through the center bead across the circle.
Take the top cord and go down through the same bead (cords should now be crossing through the bead).
Take each cord and pass it through the next two seed beads in the circle.
Choose one cord and pass it through two additional beads—this should bring both cords together on the same side.
Tie two overhand knots and pull tightly to secure the flower shape.
Thread both cords through two beads, pulling the knot into a bead to hide it.
String through two more beads, tie another set of two overhand knots and trim off the excess.
Locate a seed bead on each dark flower where you can pass a jump ring through.
Attach a 4mm jump ring through one seed bead.
Attach another 4mm jump ring directly across from the first, on the opposite side of the flower.
Use oval jump rings to connect 10 dark flowers together through the jump rings, forming a flower chain.
Attach the 11th dark flower to one end of a 4-inch chain using a jump ring.
Attach a lobster clasp to the opposite end of the flower chain using a jump ring.
Take one flower from each of the 4 alternate colors and attach them to the first oval jump ring in the flower chain.
Repeat the process, skipping one oval jump ring each time, so the flowers are attached to every other oval jump ring.
You will have 5 sets of 4-color flowers, each attached in groups along the bracelet.
For each of the 5 sets, take a drop bead and a size #11 seed bead.
String them onto a jump ring and attach the jump ring just before a dark flower in the chain.
Repeat this detail 5 times total.
