- Cord, leather (dyed), brown, 2mm round. Sold per 25-yard spool
- Focal, conch shell (natural) and gold-finished steel, white / dark brown / light brown, 38x18mm
- Jump ring, antique gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge.
- Thread, Berkley® FireLine®, gel-spun polyethylene, smoke, 0.15mm diameter 4-fiber braid, 6-pound test.
- Jump ring, antique gold-plated brass, 8mm round, 5.4mm inside diameter, 16 gauge.
- Clasp, toggle, antique gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 16mm rope round.
- Cord end, fold-over, antique gold-plated steel, 5x5mm with 4mm inside diameter.
- Seed bead, Miyuki, glass, pkg/25g, #6 rocaille, opaque Picasso brown, (RR-4517).
Instructions
Step 1
Cut three 20-inch strands of 2mm round brown leather cord.
Step 2
Attach 5x5mm fold-over cord ends to the ends of each of the three strands of leather cord.
Step 3
Using 4mm 22-gauge round jump rings, attach a toggle clasp to the ends of the cords, joining the three strands as a single necklace.
Step 4
Make a triangular seed bead focal using #6 Miyuki opaque Picasso brown rocaille seed beads, smoke FireLine® jewelry-making thread and the double brick stitch “drop-two” pattern, beginning with nine beads in an arrow.

Step 5
Attach an 8mm 16-gauge round jump ring to the cord necklace.
Attach a natural conch shell focal to the jump ring.
