- Bead 32 facets translucent cobalt blue, Celestial Crystal® 4mm round
- Bead Czech fire-polished glass, mixed half-coated blue iris honey, 4mm faceted round
- Bead Czech fire-polished glass, opaque satin metallic gold, 4mm faceted round
- Bead, Czech fire-polished glass, transparent honey, 4mm faceted round
- Ear wire fishhook, 28mm / 10x5mm leaf / open loop, 20 gauge antiqued copper
- Head pin, copper, 1 inch with 1.5mm ball, 22 gauge
- Jump ring, clear-coated copper, 8mm round, 5.4mm inside diameter, 16 gauge
- Seed bead, Delica®, glass, #8 round, transparent copper-lined crystal clear (DBL-0037)
- Wire, Zebra Wire™, natural copper, round, 16 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 7-inch lengths of Zebra Wire™ 16-gauge natural copper round wire.
Step 2
Shape one strand of wire around a bracelet mandrel at the “6-1/2” mark.
Step 3
Using round-nose pliers, make a tight simple loop in one end of the wire. Then set it aside.
Step 4
Make a drop by threading a 4mm Celestial Crystal® translucent cobalt blue faceted round bead onto a 1-inch 22-gauge ball-tip head pin. Finish with a simple loop. Repeat five times. so you have six cobalt blue drops.
Repeat to create six drops of each of the following colors:
- 4mm Czech fire-polished glass half-coated blue iris honey faceted round beads
- 4mm Czech fire-polished glass opaque satin metallic gold faceted round beads
- 4mm Czech fire-polished glass transparent honey faceted round beads
Step 5
String drops in the following repeating pattern: blue iris honey, satin metallic gold, cobalt blue, honey. String one Delica® #8 transparent copper-lined crystal clear round seed bead at the beginning, between each drop, and at the end, then form a simple loop to secure.
Step 6
Using pliers, bend the loops at either end of the wire at a 90-degree angle so that they are horizontal. Attach an 8mm jump ring to connect both loops. Then attach an ear wire to the jump ring.
Step 7
Repeat Steps 2 - 6 to create a second earring.
