Instructions
Cut one 4-inch length of 20-gauge sterling silver-filled dead-soft round wire.
Make a small simple loop at one end of the wire. Thread one 4mm sapphire bicone, then one 8mm sapphire puffed square onto the wire.
Make a loop in the wire beyond the beads, leaving a 2mm space between the puffed square bead and the loop. Wrap the loop once—as if making a wrapped loop —then bring the wire diagonally over the front corner of the puffed square toward the opposite top corner. Bring the wire in to wrap once just under the simple loop. Trim and tuck in the tail.
Make a drop by threading one 4mm sapphire bicone onto a 1-inch cup head pin. Finish with a simple loop. Attach the drop to the bottom loop of the earring component made in Steps 2 and 3.
Attach the earring to one fishhook ear wire, using the simple loop at the top of the wire component.
Repeat Steps 1 – 5 for the second earring.
