A 25mm hoop earring wire makes a great base for wine charms. Just string beads onto the straight wire and bend on the wire's straight end. Hook the bent end into the loop to secure.

Another clever way to make wine charms is to use magnetic clasps, crimp beads and Accu-Flex® beading wire.
