When adding a toggle, do you need to add extra jumprings and if so should they be equal on both sides?
Adding jumprings to the toggle bar half of the clasp will help the bar pass through the toggle ring when putting your design on. Due to the design of this clasp, the toggle bar needs to turn to pass through the ring and often extra length is needed in order for the turn to happen easily as well as to have enough length to pull the bar through the ring before settling it into place. When adding more rings to one side than the other, you may find the toggle is not centered in the overall design. You can add jumprings to the toggle ring side of the design as well, if you would like. I find, due to the toggle design and that the bar sits inside the ring, adding length to the toggle ring is not needed in order to keep the design symmetrical.
