Earrings with Swarovski Crystal Beads and Pearls

The orchid from Swarovski crystal is a great topper to this cluster of Swarovski crystal pearls and crystals.

STEP 1
Using the side-cutting pliers, cut two 1-inch lengths of chain and two 2-inch lengths of 22-gauge sterling silver half-hard wire. Set them aside.
STEP 2
Place a 6mm light green Swarovski crystal pearl onto one headpin. Finish the end with a simple loop to create a 6mm light green bead drop. Repeat to create a total of six 6mm light green pearl drops.

Using one headpin and one bead for each bead drop, repeat to create the following:
  • Eight 4mm light green pearl drops
  • Four 6mm white pearl drops
  • Eight 8mm light green pearl drops
  • Eight 3mm olivine crystal bicone drops
  • Four 3mm crystal AB bicone drops
STEP 3
Place a 6mm white Swarovski crystal pearl onto one headpin. Place the chain-nose pliers 4mm above the pearl and then begin a simple loop to create a 6mm white Swarovski pearl long drop. Repeat to create four 6mm white pearl long bead drops.
STEP 4

Open the loop above one 6mm light green pearl drop. Slip the open loop through the last link on one end of one 1-inch length of chain. Close the loop.

Repeat to add a 4mm light green pearl drop on each side of the 6mm light green drop and one 3mm olivine bicone drop on the side of each 4mm light green pearl drop.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 4, adding the following on each side of the next link of chain up from the bottom link: 6mm light green pearl drop and a 3mm crystal clear AB bicone drop.
STEP 6
Repeat Step 4, adding the following on each side of the next link up: 6mm white pearl long drop and a 4mm light green pearl drop.
STEP 7
Repeat Step 4, adding the following on each side of the next link up: 3mm olivine bicone drop and an 8mm light green pearl drop.
STEP 8
Repeat Step 4, adding the following on each side of the next link up: 8mm light green pearl drop and a 6mm white pearl drop.
STEP 9
Using the tip of the round-nose pliers, make a small loop on the end of one length of 22-gauge wire. Open the loop and slip it onto the link of chain the bead drops were added to in Step 8, so the loop rests between the two sets of drops.

Trim the length of chain that remains above this same link.
STEP 10
Place an orchid bead onto the length of wire extending beyond the beaded cluster on the chain. Nestle the orchid bead onto the beaded cluster and adjust the beads so the orchid bead lies close to the surface of the last set of pearls.
STEP 11
Create a wrapped loop with the length of wire extending above the orchid, securing the orchid bead in place.
STEP 12
Using chain-nose pliers, gently lift the loop open on an earwire. Slip the wrapped loop onto the earwire, settling it into the curve of the open loop. Close the loop to secure the beaded orchid drop in place.

Repeat Steps 4 - 12 to create a second earring.
