Cut the following lengths:
One 10-inch length and one 8-1/2 inch length of 2.5mm figaro chain
One 6-inch length of dead-soft 20 gauge Jeweler’s Bronze wire
Punch one hole on the wristband approximately 3-1/2 inches from the clasp, approximately 9mm between the top and bottom.
Repeat to punch a second hole approximately 15mm from the previous and a third hole approximately 15mm from the second.
Note: This may be a good time to review the provided holes for the clasp to ensure they will accommodate the intended wrist size. Holes can be added for smaller wrist sizes.
Pass one 10mm twisted jumpring through one link on the 10-inch length of chain approximately 3-1/2 inches from one end, and one link on the 8-1/2 inch length of chain approximately 3 inches from one end then close.
Repeat to attach one 10mm twisted jumpring to the opposite end of each length of chain.
String one powder almond 12mm pearl onto the 6-inch length of wire. Match up the wires making sure they are even, centering the pearl.
String one 10mm twisted jumpring onto both ends of the wire then pass both ends of the wire through the front side of the center hole.
Pass one end of the wire back up through the hole closest to the clasp then string the 10mm twisted jumpring on one end of the lengths of chain and one powder almond 12mm pearl.
Pass the wire back down through the jumpring and the same hole. Trim the wire to approximately 1/4 inch then press the end tightly against the back of the leather to create a sharp angle and secure.
Repeat to finish the third hole, using the opposite end of the wire.
Cut one 9-1/4 x 3-1/2 inch block of scrap leather into approximately 50 sections of fringe leaving about 3mm of uncut leather along the top edge, connecting the fringe. Repeat to cut a second scrap of leather into fringe.
Tip: The fringe should range between 3 - 5 millimeters.
Cut one of the two fringed scraps into two equal sections, approximately 3-1/2 inches.
Bias cut the ends of the fringe to random lengths then round each corner on the top edge.
Apply a layer of E-6000 to the back (suede) side of the top edge of one 3-1/2 inch fringed section.
Press the glued edge of the fringe against the top edge of the leather wristband on the clasp end approximately 6mm from the end.
Let the adhesive dry according to manufacturer's instructions.
Repeat Step 8 to attach the second half of fringed scrap, approximately 3/4 inches from the end of the previous.
Use a 1.25mm hole punch to punch one hole in the leather wristband along the edge of the fringed leather, approximately 6mm from the clasp end. Continue to punch 51 holes approximately 2-3 millimeters apart along the edge of the fringe.
Pass one 6mm jumpring through the first hole created then close. Continue to add one jumpring to each of the holes.
