Strong, flexible, and kink resistant, Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire is intended to be part of the design. This beading wire is flexible, resists kinking and is best when crimped. Accu-Flex beading wire is free of heavy metals and can be recycled. The hard plastic spool is made of polystyrene that can also be recycled.

Dijon gold beading wire displays a muted, saturated hue that's ideal for use with a range of yellows and golds in glass, gemstone and metal beads. Nylon coating protects the metal cable underneath, protecting from abrasion.

Cable-style beading wire made of stainless steel alloys offers flexibility, corrosion resistance and a robust tensile strength for its gauge.

In a cable-style beading wire such as Accu-Flex, ultra-thin wires are twisted together like suspension bridge cables and given a protective nylon coating. Each wire is in a bundle of seven wire strands, and the total number of wire strands changes how the beading cable behaves. A 49-strand beading wire has superior flexibility, superior kink resistance, superior abrasion resistance, superior strength and a highly flexible drape most similar to stringing on thread. A 49-strand beading wire is ideal for highly fluid designs, including multi-strand designs with high drape or heavy beads and central focals. Cable-style beading wire is not recommended for cultured pearls.

Stainless steel Accu-Flex with a 0.014-inch diameter has a tensile strength of 16.3 pounds. Tensile strength or "pound test" refers to the maximum amount of tensile (pulling or stretching) force that a material can withstand before breaking. This strength is ideal for medium-weight strung designs using mid-sized gemstone, lampworked glass, porcelain and crystal beads, plus smaller (or fewer) metal beads and similarly weighted beads and components. Wire diameter may vary by 0.35-0.36mm.
