Strong, flexible, and kink resistant, Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire is intended to be part of the design. This beading wire is flexible, resists kinking and is best when crimped. Accu-Flex beading wire is free of heavy metals and can be recycled. The hard plastic spool is made of polystyrene that can also be recycled.

Clear nylon coating protects the metal cable underneath, protecting from abrasion while allowing the metal color to show through.

Cable-style beading wire made of stainless steel alloys offers flexibility, corrosion resistance and a robust tensile strength for its gauge.

In a cable-style beading wire such as Accu-Flex, thin wires are twisted together like suspension bridge cables and given a protective nylon coating. Each wire is in a bundle of seven wire strands, and the total number of wire strands changes how the beading cable behaves. A 7-strand beading wire has good flexibility, good kink resistance, good abrasion resistance, good strength and a firm drape. A 7-strand beading wire is ideal for highly structured strung designs, where the stringing material needs to stand out or hold a specific line or curve. Cable-style beading wire is not recommended for cultured pearls.

Accu-Flex with a 0.0095 inch diameter has a tensile strength of 9.1 pounds. Tensile strength or "pound test" refers to the maximum amount of tensile (pulling or stretching) force that a material can withstand before breaking. This strength is ideal for lighter weight strung designs using shell, wood, bone, acrylic and the smallest sizes of fire-polished glass beads, plus similarly weighted beads and components and seed beads. Wire diameter may vary by 0.35-0.36mm.

The 100-foot spool is ideal for building sample product lines and low-volume jewelry production.
