Art Clay® gold paste is used to accent fired metal clay (fresh and clean from the kiln), porcelain, ceramic and glass. Resulting in 22Kt gold after firing, it's best applied to metal clay in its viscous paste form. Art Clay gold should be diluted with the medium compound (included) when using on glass, porcelain or ceramic--it can also be diluted with water. Kiln firing is strongly recommended; cooling to room temperature in the kiln is advisable. The matte finish achieved after firing can be burnished and buffed to a lustrous shine.
