The long magatama is an angular, drop-like bead with a petal shape that is often used as a fringe bead. This bead is translucent orange with a silver-lined hole; the magatama is ideal for giving designs enhanced texture. From Miyuki of Japan, the manufacturer of Delica® seed beads.
