- Bead, gold-plated, 5x2mm heishi, brass
- Seed bead, Miyuki, glass, #8 rocaille, Duracoat® opaque outside dyed maroon, (RR-4470)
- Moukaite jasper, flat pillow bead natural, 14x10mm
- Crimp, gold-finished, 2.5mm corrugated round / approx 1.2mm inside diameter, brass
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 4mm round
- Wire guard, gold-plated, 4mm tube / approx 0.5mm inside diameter, brass / Accu-Guard™
- Jump ring, gold-plated, 5.5mm round, 18 gauge / 3.5mm inside diameter / brass
- Clasp toggle, 15mm round, gold-finished brass
- Wire, Beadalon®, nylon and stainless steel, bright, 49 strand, 0.015-inch diameter
Instructions
Cut one 12-inch length of Beadalon® 49- strand 0.015-inch diameter bright wire. Add a bead stopper.
String onto the beading wire: one 2.5mm gold-plated corrugated round crimp and one Accu-Guard™ gold-plated 4mm tube wire guard. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm gold-plated round crimp cover.
String on the beads in your desired pattern. To replicate this design, use the pattern below:
- One 14x10mm moukaite jasper flat pillow bead
- One 5x2mm gold-plated heishi bead
- One Miyuki #8 Duracoat® opaque outside-dyed maroon rocaille seed bead
- One 5x2mm gold-plated heishi bead
String enough beads to fit desired length, finishing with one 5x2mm gold-plated heishi bead, one Miyuki maroon seed bead and another gold-plated heishi bead.
Repeat Step 2 to crimp and secure the end of the bracelet.
Attach the parts of a 15mm gold-finished round toggle clasp to both ends of bracelet using 5.5mm 18-gauge round jump rings.
