- Bead, silver-plated, 4mm round, brass
- Bead, silver-plated, 4x2mm heishi, brass
- Bead, Preciosa Ornela Czech glass, bugle bead, 1 inch, opaque black, (23980)

- Golden sheen obsidian, flat round bead natural, 20mm
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm seamless tube / heavy wall, approx 1.2mm inside diameter
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Clasp toggle, silver-plated "pewter" (zinc alloy), 9mm round
- Jump ring, silver-plated, 4mm round, 20 gauge / 2.4mm inside diameter / brass
- Chain, silver-plated paperclip, 3.8mm / lobster claw clasp, brass
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, midnight black, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver, 4mm tube, 0.8mm inside diameter
Instructions
Cut one 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® 0.019” diameter midnight black professional-quality beading wire.
String on your desired pattern using following beads and placing a 20mm golden sheen obsidian flat round bead in the center.
- 1-inch opaque black bugle beads
- 4x2mm silver-plated heishi beads
- 4mm silver-plated round beads
- 1/4 inch silver-lined transparent teal bugle beads
- 1/4 inch silver-lined clear bugle beads
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Repeat Step 3 on the opposite end of the necklace.
Cut one 7-inch length of silver-plated paperclip chain in half, creating two equal lengths.
Using 4mm jump rings, attach one chain length to each end of the beaded necklace.
Using 4mm jump rings, attach the parts of a 9mm round toggle clasp to the ends of the chain to complete the necklace.
