Instructions
Using an acrylic roller, roll 1/8 of a bar of metallic rose gold Sculpey® PREMO polymer clay to about 1/8 of an inch thick.
Using a Kemper® clay leaf cutter, cut two leaf shapes out of the clay.
With a mold, create patterned grooves into the clay leaf shapes.
Using a toothpick, apply opaque black Liquid Sculpey® liquid polymer clay to the grooves in the clay leaf shapes. Then with a new toothpick, pierce a hole in the center of the top of each clay leaf shape.
Bake in the oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135 degrees Celsius) for 20 minutes.
After the clay leaf shapes have cooled, apply clear 2-part epoxy resin. Let it cure for 24 hours.
Attach a black 5mm 20-gauge round jump ring to the hole of the first clay leaf shape. Then attach a black electro-coated fishhook ear wire to the jump ring.
Repeat for the second earring.
