Pendant, Snap-Tite®, sterling silver, 6mm with 6-prong round setting
Instructions
Place a 6mm faceted ruby red cubic zirconia face down on a soft surface.
Place a Snap-Tite® pendant setting over the stone so the prongs (or bezel lips) are facing down.
Press down firmly on the stone with the bezel. You should hear an audible snap. This is the “Snap-Tite” mechanism locking the prongs over the stone’s girdle.
Ensure the prongs are snug against the stone’s widest part (the girdle). If not, use chain-nose pliers to gently press opposing prongs together. Apply only light pressure to avoid twisting the setting or damaging the stone.
If the prongs are slightly raised and could catch on clothing, use a bezel roller to gently lower them.
Slide the pendant onto a Gossamer™ 16-inch sterling silver curb chain.
Insert one 6mm ruby red cubic zirconia into each Snap-Tite 6mm sterling silver earstud setting, using the same method used in the Necklace Instructions.
Attach the earnuts to the earring posts.
