Instructions
Cut one 10-inch length of FireLine® crystal polyethylene thread.
String on a #8 rocaille seed bead. Pass the thread back through the bead several times. Then add a dab of G-S Hypo Cement® adhesive and let it dry.
String on #8 rocaille seed beads in your choice of colors until the strand is seven inches long or your desired length. To replicate the pattern shown, use Miyuki opaque matte glazed luster dusty orchid and opaque galvanized pink blush seed beads and Preciosa Ornela transparent silver-lined light topaz seed beads in an alternating pattern.
At the end of the strand, pass the thread back through the final bead several times. Then add a dab of G-S Hypo Cement® adhesive and let it dry.
Cut a 36-inch length of FireLine crystal polyethylene thread.
Create a 5-bead-wide row of peyote-stitched beading using your choice of colors of #8 rocaille seed beads.
Once the strand is seven inches long, pass the thread back through the last bead several times. Then add a dab of G-S Hypo Cement adhesive and let it dry.
Cut two 3.5-inch lengths of gold-finished 2.3mm paperclip chain.
Place a Crystal Passions® SS39 rose rivoli chaton in an 8mm gold-plated link setting. For instructions on how to use a prong setting, view the video or read the written instructions, “How to Set and Remove Faceted Gems.”
Using 4mm 22-gauge gold-plated round jump rings, attach the two 3.5-inch lengths of chain to either side of the link.
Cut two 7-inch lengths of FireLine crystal polyethylene thread.
Create a 2-bead wide row of peyote-stitched beading using your choice of colors of #8 rocaille seed beads.
Once the strand is seven inches long, pass the thread back through the last bead several times. Then add a dab of G-S Hypo Cement adhesive and let it dry.
Slide the beads at the end of each strand into a 26.5mm gold-finished round tube end bar and secure. Then slide the other ends into another end bar and secure.
Tip: To use the chain segment with the end bar, bend the last links of chain in half to create a stopper so the chain won’t slide out of the end bar.
Using a 4mm 22-gauge gold-plated jump ring, attach an awareness ribbon charm to the end bar.
Add a 6mm 18-gauge antique gold-plated round jump ring to both end bars, inserting a lobster claw clasp before closing one of them.
