- Pearl white, Crystal Passions® 10mm round 5810.
- Bead, Czech pearl-coated glass druk, emerald green, 8mm round.
- Bead mix, lampworked glass, peridot green with fancy finish, 7x4mm-14x11mm mixed shapes.
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 4 inches, 21 gauge.
- Wire, ParaWire™, silver-plated copper, round, 22 gauge.
- Bead, glass rhinestone and silver-plated brass, black, 8x4mm rondelle.
- Bead, silver-plated copper, 7x2mm twisted rondelle.
- Ear wire fishhook antique silver-plated, 22mm / 8x4mm teardrop / open loop, 18 gauge copper.
- Bead, glass and silver-finished brass, opaque and transparent black and clear, 4mm faceted bicone / 8x6mm faceted rondelle / 15x10mm faceted teardrop.
- Seed bead, TOHO BEADS®, glass, #11 round, transparent silver-lined olivine (TR-11-37).
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Thread the following onto a 4-inch 21-gauge silver-plated head pin:
- One 8x6mm black faceted glass rondelle bead (from a package of mixed-shape beads)
- One peridot green lampworked glass bead
- One 8mm emerald green glass druk bead
- One 7x2mm silver-plated twisted rondelle bead
- One 10mm Crystal Passions® round white pearl
- One 8x4mm black rhinestone rondelle bead
- One 15x10mm black faceted glass teardrop bead (from a package of mixed-shape beads)
Step 2
Make a double wrapped loop in the end of the head pin to secure the beads.
Step 3
Cut two 2-1/2 inch lengths of ParaWire™ 22-gauge silver-plated copper round wire.
Step 4
Make a wrapped loop at one end of the wire. This will be the hand of the nutcracker.
Step 5
String nine TOHO BEADS® #11 transparent silver-lined olivine round seed beads onto the wire. Wrap the wire just past the beads onto the head pin between the emerald green druk bead and the twisted rondelle bead. Then add nine more olivine seed beads. Finish with another wrapped loop.
Step 6
Attach a 22mm 18-gauge antique silver-plated fishhook ear wire to the loop in the top of the nutcracker.
Step 7
Repeat Steps 1 – 6 for the second earring.
