Convertible Double-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski® Crystals, Antiqued Silver-Finished "Pewter" Bead Cage and Antiqued Silver-Plated "Pewter" Drops

Necklace

STEP 1
Cut the following lengths:
  • One 14-inch length and one 16-inch length Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
  • Two 3-1/2 inch lengths 5.5mm flat round diamond cut out chain
  • Thirteen 8-inch lengths Invizi™-Cord nylon cord

Tassel

STEP 2
String the following onto one 1-inch eyepin:
  • One pastel blue 10mm pearl
  • One 14mm round teardrop cutout bead cage
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 8mm pearl
Form a simple loop creating a pastel blue pearl link.
STEP 3
Pass one end of one 8-inch length of Invizi-Cord through the loop on one end of the pastel blue pearl link (10mm pearl end) then match up the ends of the cord.

String the following onto both ends of the cord:
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (small end first)
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (large end first)
  • One transparent clear 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (small end first)
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (large end first)
  • One crimp
STEP 4
Pull the cord so beads are snug then crimp. Trim excess from the short end of the cord then finish with a 3mm crimp cover.
STEP 5
Pass one end of one 8-inch length of Invizi-Cord through one teardrop loop on the bead cage then match up the ends of the cord.

String the following onto both ends of the cord:
  • Three pastel blue 3mm pearls
  • Three pastel blue 4mm pearls
  • One pastel blue 6mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (large end first)
  • One crimp
Repeat Step 4 to create a grey pear pearl tassel drop.

Repeat to create a total of six grey pear pearl tassel drops.

Note: Attach the tassel drops to the teardrop loops on the bead cage in a random pattern.
STEP 6
Pass one end of one 8-inch length of Invizi-Cord through one teardrop loop on the bead cage then match up the ends of the cord.

String onto both ends of the cord: five pastel blue 3mm pearls, three pastel blue 4mm pearls and one crimp. Repeat Step 4 to create a pastel blue pearl tassel drop.

Repeat to create a total of six pastel blue pearl tassel drops.
STEP 7
Attach the lobster claw clasp to the loop on the opposite end of the tassel.

First Strand

STEP 8
String onto the 14-inch beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.

Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 3mm crimp cover.
STEP 9
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Four pastel blue 6mm pearls
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One clear and black 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • Repeat this sequence to string seven sets:
    • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
    • One pastel blue 6mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • Repeat this sequence to string three sets:
    • One pastel blue 8mm pearl
    • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
STEP 10
Continue to string one pastel blue 10mm pearl and one transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle. Repeat this sequence to string a total of four sets.

Continue to string one pastel blue 10mm pearl then repeat Step 9 in the opposite direction to string the remainder of the strand.

Repeat Step 8 to secure the strand.

Second Strand

STEP 11
Repeat Step 8 using the 16-inch length of beading wire.
STEP 12
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Four pastel blue 6mm pearls
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One transparent clear 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 10mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One clear and black 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 10mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 6mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 6mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 10mm pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 7x3mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One transparent clear 5x2.5mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 4mm round
STEP 13
Continue to string the lobster claw clasp on the tassel then repeat the stringing sequence in Step 12 in the opposite direction to string the remainder of the strand.

Repeat Step 8 to secure the strand.
STEP 14
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the first strand and the top loop on the 2-loop side of one 17x17mm diamond drop then close. Repeat to attach the opposite end of the first strand to the top loop on a second 17x17mm diamond drop.

Repeat to attach each end of the second strand to the bottom loops on the 17x17mm diamond drops.
STEP 15
Using one 4mm jumpring connect the first link on one 3-1/2 inch length of chain to the single loop on the one loop side on a 17x17mm diamond drop. Repeat to attach the second length of chain to the single loop the second 17x17mm diamond drop.

Using one 4mm jumpring connect the last link on one 3-1/2 inch length of chain and one portion of the toggle clasp. Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp to the length of chain on the opposite end of the necklace.

Earrings

STEP 1
String the following onto one 2-inch headpin:
  • One 3mm round
  • One grey 11x8mm pear pearl (small end first)
  • One transparent clear 6x3mm mini rondelle
  • One pastel blue 4mm pearl
  • One pastel blue 3mm pearl
Form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a pastel blue pearl drop.

Repeat to create a second pastel blue drop.
STEP 2
Pass the loop on one earstud through the loop of one of the pastel blue drops then close.

Repeat to create a second earring.
