Amethyst, hand-cut calibrated oval cab natural 8x6mm.
Amethyst, hand-cut calibrated oval cab natural 18x13mm.
Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge.
Eye pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 24 gauge.
Chain 3+1 bead, 1mm / lobster claw clasp, gold-finished brass 18 inch.
Drop, gold-plated brass, 9x7mm oval with beaded edge and 8x6mm oval bezel setting.
Drop, gold-plated brass, 19x14mm oval with beaded edge and 18x13mm oval bezel setting.
Bead amethyst, Crystal Passions® 3mm bicone 5328.
Seed bead, Dyna-Mites™, glass, #11 round, opaque 24Kt gold-plated, (570 11/0 RR).
Ear wire fishhook, gold-plated, 18mm flat / open loop, 21 gauge brass.
Adhesive, 5 Minute® Epoxy, 2-part epoxy, clear.

Instructions

Necklace Instructions

Step 1

Using a toothpick and Devcon 5 Minute® 2-part epoxy, glue an 18x13mm amethyst oval cabochon into a 19x14mm gold-plated oval bezel setting drop. Let the epoxy dry completely.

Step 2

String the following onto a 1-1/2 inch 24-gauge gold-plated eye pin:

One Dyna-Mites™ #11 24Kt gold-plated round seed bead
One Crystal Passions® 3mm amethyst bicone bead
One Dyna-Mites #11 24Kt gold-plated round seed bead

Finish with a double wrapped loop.

Step 3

Open the eye on the eye pin and attach it to the loop on the top of the drop from Step 1.

Step 4

Using a 4mm 20-gauge gold-plated round jump ring, attach the double wrapped loop of the eye pin to an 18-inch gold-finished 3+1 bead chain.

Earrings Instructions

Step 1

Using a toothpick and Devcon 5 Minute 2-part epoxy, glue an 8x6mm amethyst oval cabochon into a 9x7mm gold-plated oval bezel setting drop. Let the epoxy dry completely.

Step 2

String the following onto a 1-1/2 inch 24-gauge gold-plated eye pin:

One Dyna-Mites #11 24Kt gold-plated round seed bead
One Crystal Passions 3mm amethyst bicone bead
One Dyna-Mites #11 24Kt gold-plated round seed bead

Finish with a double wrapped loop.

Step 3

Open the eye on the eye pin and attach it to the loop on the top of the drop from Step 1.

Step 4

Attach the wrapped loop on the top of the eye pin to an 18mm 21-gauge gold-plated fishhook ear wire.

Step 5

Repeat Steps 1 - 4 for the second earring.
