- Blackstone, chip bead 34 inch medium
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, midnight black, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, lobster claw, sterling silver, 13x6mm with jump ring
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 5mm round, 3.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm twisted, 0.8mm inside diameter
- Head pin, sterling silver, 2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Bead transparent clear, Celestial Crystal® 6mm bicone
- Bead crystal, Crystal Passions® 8mm love 5741
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver, 4mm tube, 0.8mm inside diameter
- Pearl moonlight, Crystal Passions® 4mm round 5810
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 20-inch strand of Accu-Flex® 49-strand 0.019-inch diameter midnight black professional-quality beading wire. Put a bead stopper at one end of the beading wire.
Step 2
String the following onto the beading wire:
- 10 blackstone chip beads
- One 4mm Crystal Passions® round moonlight pearl
- One 6mm Celestial Crystal® transparent clear bicone bead
- One 4mm Crystal Passions round moonlight pearl
Repeat this pattern nine times. Then end with another 10 blackstone chip beads.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire: one 2mm sterling silver twisted crimp and one Accu-Guard™ 4mm sterling silver tube wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm silver-plated round crimp cover. Repeat for the other end of the necklace.
Step 4
Using a 5mm 22-gauge sterling silver round jump ring, attach a 13x6mm sterling silver lobster-claw clasp to one end of the necklace. Attach six 5mm 22-gauge sterling silver round jump rings to the other end of the necklace to make it so the necklace is adjustable to several lengths.
Step 5
Onto a 2-inch 24-gauge sterling silver ball-tip head pin, string one 4mm Crystal Passions round moonlight pearl, one 6mm Celestial Crystal transparent clear bicone bead, an 8mm Crystal Passions crystal love bead and another 4mm Crystal Passions round moonlight pearl. Make a double wrapped loop in the end of the head pin.
Step 6
Attach the drop you just made to the last loop on the chain of jump rings.
